my name is syd and i am the webmaster of SYDNIA. i am a 21*-year-old (2005) turkish man (he/him/they) who is currently majoring in french.

i created SYDNIA on february 10, 2024 and have been building it ever since. the website has gone through quite a few changes over the years:

after the first few months, i abandoned the project because i no longer felt connected to the material, and it no longer felt like a reflection of me or my beliefs.
eventually… i rebuilt the entire website, and published a more fleshed-out version of SYDNIA. since then, the design has constantly evolved, although the main idea has remained the same.
this website is a personal project - a dumping ground for my brain - where i journal through imagery and text alike. it's part diary, part exhibition, but mostly, it's an experiment.
